About Director

Heartmoon Haejung Ocean

Heartmoon Haejung has devoted over twenty years to Tao practice, cultivating a life rooted in conscious breathing, inner awareness, and deep stillness. Since 2020, she has focused her study and teaching on the Bongwoo Tao Meditation Method, a profound Korean spiritual lineage that carries forward the wisdom of Master Bongwoo. Haejung was trained under a direct student of Master Bongwoo, honoring the authentic transmission of this tradition following his passing in 1994.

Now based in Sedona, Arizona—renowned for its powerful natural energy and healing landscapes—she shares these teachings through guided meditation, retreats, and the Rise App. Through her gentle guidance and lived experience, Haejung invites students to reconnect with their true self within, awakening balance, clarity, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

“True peace begins with a single breath. When you breathe with awareness, you return to your essence—calm, clear, and whole. This path is not about escaping life, but awakening fully to it.”
Heartmoon Haejung Ocean
